I'm a first-year at Washington and Lee University, double majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science, and I'm originally from Pokhara, Nepal. Most of my projects circle one question: how do you get a computer to read an image that even people find hard to read? So far that has meant Tibetan inscriptions and algae shells under an electron microscope.

My work tends to sit on the backend and in computer vision: segmentation pipelines, OCR, APIs, and getting it all deployed somewhere people can actually use it. Before W&L, I graduated as valedictorian of Budhanilkantha School in Kathmandu and spent a summer building features for Nepalingo, an open-source app for learning Nepal's indigenous languages.
